Sie ist Künstlerin, er ist Möbeldesigner. Wie sollte es auch anders sein. Das Geheimnis dieses herrlichen Ortes? Viele Farben, großflächig eingesetzt, viele offene Regale, um viel Licht hereinzulassen und Unmengen von Blumen. Fertig. Muss ich unbedingt ausprobieren zu Hause.

Wenn es etwas zu feiern gibt, darf es aber durchaus kitschig werden. Auf meinen Feiern zumindest. Die Formel gibt hier der australische Stylist Glen Proebstel vor. Die Grundlage ist weiß, hier die Tischdecke, die Lampen und die Stühle. Dann kommen so viele bunte Blumen auf den Tisch, dass die Speisen kaum mehr Platz finden. Und bunte Skulpturen. Und Stoffservietten mit unterschiedlichen Mustern. Und bunt gemusterte Teller von Oma oder aus dem Trödelladen. Ich hoffe, dieses Bild ist ein Vorgeschmack auf meinen Geburtstag Ende des Monats.
