Green Up Your Home

homify hat mich gebeten, mich auf ihrer neuen Design-Plattform umzusehen. Wenig überraschend dauerte es nicht lang, bis ich ihre Ideen für mehr grün in der Wohnung fand. Obwohl ich zu Hause schon Handel abschließen musste, um mehr Pflanzen Zugang in die Wohnung zu erkaufen ("Okay Schatz, du darfst genauso viel Geld für Single Malt Whiskys ausgeben, wie ich in den Balkon investiere - Deal?"), liebäugele ich immer wieder mit neuen Ideen. Auf homify habe ich ein paar gefunden, die nicht einmal extra Platz in Anspruch nehmen, weil sie Raumteiler sind zum Beispiel oder Couchtische. Yesss!

The guys over at homify asked me to take a look around their new design platform. It didn't take long before I found ideas to bring even more green into our home. Even though I already have to bargain for more plants to get over the doorstep ("Listen honey, you can spend as much on Single Malt Whiskeys as I spend on the balcony - deal?") I still ogle with new plant-y ideas. At homify I found some that won't even take up more floor space because they are room dividers or coffee tables. Yesss!

Kurz darauf traf ich auf Pflanzenbilder. Nein, nicht die kitschigen Stillleben aus Omas guter Stube. Echte Pflanzen, an der Wand, zum Anfassen. Vor allem die Moosbilder sehen so aus als ob sie sogar kuschelig sein könnten. 

Then I stumbled upon some really beautiful blooming pictures. Nope, I'm not talking about your granny's dusty paintings in the living room. These pictures are made of plants, real ones, to touch. Those mossy ones look like you could even cuddle them.

Und gerade als ich mich fragte, wie groß man diese Bilder wohl bekommen könnte, fand ich ganze Pflanzenwände. Oh Yeah! Recht dekadent würde ich sagen - und gefährlich, denn homify liefert den Kontakt zu den Machern dieser Ideen gleich mit. Tja, Nates Whisky-Sammlung wird sich wohl über Zuwachs freuen.

And just when I wondered how big those pictures get, I found plant walls. Oh yeah! Quite decadent, don't you think? And dangerous because homify also gives you the contacts of the makers behind each project. Well, looks like Nate's whisky collection might grow soon.
