This is not a Bar

Ich liebe Bars, vor allem die in privaten Wohnzimmern. Es macht viel aus, wenn da schon Getränke und Gläser stehen. Ein wortloses Willkommen. Nun kann man Bars kaufen, die auch so heißen. Man kann aber auch zu Ikea gehen und Möbelstücke uminterpretieren.

I love bars, especially those in private living rooms. It's nice when drinks and glasses say welcome without words. Of course you can get a bar cart that is called like that. But then, you can go to Ikea and turn furniture into bar carts!

Es wird pikant, denn dieses schöne Stück verkauft Ikea als Wickeltisch. Aber muss das irgendjemand wissen? Es bietet Platz und bringt durch die Gitter ein wenig Surfflair ins Wohnzimmer, wenn man sich vorstellt, das Ganze wäre aus Bambus.

Der Servierwagen links ist der Prototyp einer Bar, das kleine Schwarze unter ihnen. Ich persönlich würde natürlich den silbernen Rahmen mit Goldlack versehen. Und der Rollwagen daneben? Das ist ein Badmöbel. Und die perfekte Bar. In jeder Farbe anmalbar übrigens.

That cart on the left is a prototype of a bar, you could call it the LBD of bars. And that cart next to it? It's supposed to be a bathroom furniture but I think it makes a great bar. You can paint it in any color you want, too.

Für große Mädchen, die zwischen ihre Cocktailgläser auch mal ein paar Louboutins stellen. Ist ja beides schön. Die Getränke auf den Bars sind übrigens nicht zufällig gewählt. Wermut, Vodka, Rum und Tequila bilden die Grundlage für viele Cocktails.

For big girls who might as well place a pair of Louboutins among their cocktail glasses. They're both pretty after all. The bottles on the bars are not chosen at random, by the way. Vermouth, vodka, rum and tequila are the base for a lot of cocktails.
